Parishes of the Russian Church Abroad Celebrate the 600th Anniversary of the Repose of St Arseny of Tver
March 15, 2009, the feast day of St Arseny of Tver, marks the 600th anniversary of his blessed repose. In accordance with the “Holy Trinity Calendar” published by Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY, a service to St Arseny may be served on that day. “As the rector deems,” the service to St Arseny can be transferred to the second Saturday of Great Lent, while the Sunday service, in accordance with the Lenten Triodion, may be dedicated to St Gregory Palamas.
