St Seraphim Church Will Mark the 75th Anniversary
of the Priestly Ordination of Bishop Mitrophan (Znosko-Borovsky, +2002)
On Saturday, June 25, 2011, the feast day of St Onouphry the Great, St Seraphim Church in Sea Cliff, NY, will prayerfully mark the 75th anniversary of the priestly ordination of the late Bishop Mitrophan (Znosko-Borovsky). Divine Liturgy will begin at 9 am with a commemorative litiya to follow. The parish website has posted a Russian-language article titled "A Pastor of Duty and Conscience" devoted to the life and service of the late hierarch.
