A Moleben Service for the Beginning of the School Year Will Be Performed at the Synodal Cathedral in New York
On Sunday, September 7, 2014 , a moleben service for the beginning of the school year will be performed after Divine Liturgy at St Sergius Chapel of the Synodal Cathedral of Our Lady “of the Sign” in New York. The service will be held before the Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God, the Protectress of the Russian diaspora. Protopriest Andrei Sommer, the Senior Priest of the Cathedral, will perform the service; Fr Andrei is the Vice President of the Synodal Youth Department.
Fr Andrei will then answer questions from parents and students.
