Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York Celebrates Divine Liturgy at SS Peter and Paul Cathedral in Strathfield, Australia

On Sunday, April 19, 2015, the Sunday of Antipascha, also known as St Thomas Sunday, His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern American and New York celebrated Divine Liturgy at SS Peter and Paul Cathedral along with His Grace Bishop George of Canberra, Vicar of the Diocese of Australia and New Zealand, and the cathedral’s clergyman.

During the minor entrance, His Eminence awarded Deacon Constantine Moshegov, a clergyman of the Diocese and renowned eye surgeon, the rank of protodeacon. At the end of Divine Liturgy, Protopriest George Lapardin wished the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia good health and a safe return to New York, where His Eminence will arrive on Thursday, April 23.
