On Wednesday, Jan 30/Feb 12, 2020, the Holy Orthodox Church celebrates the Feast of the Synaxis of the Three Hierarchs; SS Basil the Great, Gregory the Theologian and John Chrysostom. Whereas these three great hierarchs and luminaries of the Church are considered as the patrons of every Orthodox Seminary, the schedule of services in Jordanville surrounding this feast was celebrated by a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy by His Eminence Archbishop Peter of Chicago and Mid-America. His Grace, Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan and His Grace Bishop Luke of Syracuse, Abbot of Holy Trinity Monastery and Rector of the Seminary. Immediately after Wednesday’s Divine Services, a meal was served in the monastery trapeza, followed by a reception in the seminary building, all of which the public was invited to attend. Following the afternoon tea, the Holy Trinity Alumni Association held a brief organizational meeting led by its director, Fr Stefan Pavlenko (HTOS class ’71). www.hts.edu
