Abbess Moisseia (Bubnova) departs in the Lord
On Sunday night-Monday, March 7-8, 2021, Abbess Moisseia (Bubnova), former head of Ascension of the Lord Convent on the Mt of Olives, departed in the Lord. She had spent her last few years in retirement.
Mother Abbess died after serious illness complicated by the coronavirus.
The Spiritual Council of the convent will meet today to determine the time and place of the funeral.
