In preparation for the conference “Links between Times: Conclusions and Perspectives on the Centennial of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad” to be held in Belgrade November 23-25, 2021, a delegation of clergymen from the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia participated in the Divine Services of the Patronal Feast of the Archangel Michael Cathedral in Belgrade on November 8/21, 2021. The Divine Services were led by His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Porfirije. The ROCOR delegation included Archpriest Gregory Joyce (Dean of the Pastoral School of the Diocese of Chicago & Mid-America), Priest Michael Volzhanskii (Cleric of the Diocese of Chicago & Mid-America), Deacon Andrei Psarev (Professor of Holy Trinity Seminary and Organizer of the Conference), and Deacon Sergei Baranov (Cleric of the Diocese of Chicago & Mid-America). Following the Divine Service His Holiness invited the delegation to participate in the reception in honor of the feast. At the meal greetings were exchanged, with the Patriarch giving his best wishes to the clergy and faithful of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia. Fr. Gregory Joyce returned the greetings and asked His Holiness’ prayers for the clergy and the flock of our Church. A Participant
