Your Beatitude, Dear Vladyka:

With a warm heart I greet Your Beatitude on your patron’s feast day, prayerfully wishing you the intercession, blessed aid and prayers of St Onouphry the Great! May his holy prayers always accompany you and the entire Ukrainian Orthodox Church which is today suffering persecutions and sorrows.

Today we see and feel that love is weakening in mankind, and we pray to the Most-Blessed Virgin Mary, before the Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God "of the Sign,” that we Orthodox Christians always collaborate towards increasing love, Divine truth and tolerance within people, that the Lord strengthens you in your difficult Primatial service, and that the Ukrainian Orthodox Church you head be granted His consolation, patience, peace and love.
