Metropolitan Alexander of Riga and All Latvia sends a letter of sympathy on the Los Angeles fires

On 18 January, 2025, the eve of the Epiphany of the Lord, the chancery of His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, received a letter of sympathy from His Eminence Metropolitan Alexander of Riga and All Latvia relating to the Los Angeles wildfires:

"We respectfully ask that you accept our genuine sympathies on the serious tribulations that have befallen the American people. May the All-merciful Lord grant His holy aid to all the victims in these days of catastrophic fires in Los Angeles and end this calamity!"
