A chapel dedicated to St John of Shanghai and San Francisco is consecrated at the Patriarchal metochion at Simonovsky Monastery in Moscow

On Tuesday, 28 January, 2025, His Eminence Metropolitan Feognost of Kazhir, President of the Synodal Department of Monasteries, consecrated a chapel dedicated to St John (Maximovich) of Shanghai and San Francisco the Miracle-worker at the Patriarchal metochion at Moscow's Simonovsky Monastery. St John was the great archpastor and man of prayer of the Russian diaspora in the 20th century.
