Metropolitan Mark of Berlin and Germany leads feast-day celebrations at the German Cathedral

On Sunday, 9 February, 2025, the Sunday of the Publican and the Pharisee and the feast day of the Holy New Martyrs and Confessors of Russia, His Eminence Metropolitan Mark of Berlin and Germany of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia officiated at the Cathedral dedicated to the Russian martyrs. He was joined by His Grace Bishop Job of Stuttgart, Vicar of the German Diocese; Cathedral Dean Archpriest Nikolai Artemoff, Diocesan Secretary, and the cathedral and visiting clergy.

After Divine Liturgy, a moleben service was performed with a procession of the cross around the church and the reading of prayers composed by Archbishop Anthony (Medvedeff) of blessed memory and adopted by the Council of Bishops in 1981.

A festive luncheon prepared by the Cathedral's sisterhood was then shared by all.
